Philippines Culture Day to be held on March 17, 2019 in Pocheon City

POCHEON, SOUTH KOREA - The festival that aims to celebrate the friendship Filipinos and Koreans is here. Dubbed as "Philippines Culture Day", the event kicks off on the anniversary of the 70th Anniversary of Korea-Philippines bilateral relationship and takes place on March 17, 2019 2:00 PM at Banweol Art Hall, Pocheon City.

Watch amazing performances of Filipino artists based in Korea as Marsha and Theo (Dance Sport), Christian Saraos (K-pop Dance), Pearl of The Orient (Folk Dance), Nicky Juanite (Traditional music), Acetrix (Magic Show) and Mary Joy Lor (Filipino-Korean Popular Songs) to take over the stage and show the Philippine culture though the power of performing arts. The Pocheon Municipal Art Company will join the spotlight to showcase spectacular Korean traditional performances.

The much awaited event is organized by Rotary Club of Dong Pocheon in collaboration with Pinoy Artists in Korea. The event is also supported by the City Goverment of Pocheon, Philippine Embassy of Korea, Gasan Migrant Workers Center, Pocheon City Glass Association and Pocheon Fusion Exchange Society.

A raffle with extravagant prizes are prepared for those who listed in RSVP.  Prizes includes a brand new TV, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, air conditioner, 5 bikes and special gifts for multicultural children and Korean spouses. Free giftpacks will also be given to everyone who attends the event.
