The conclusion of Korea Pinoy International Film Festival ended with a prestigious "Red Carpet Night with Korean and Filipino Actors, Producers, Directors, Filipino community in Korea and Koreans who are interested in Philippine culture and arts.
Pinoy Store set up a "Sari-Sari Store" booth as well as prepared Filipino food with cocktails for Koreans and Foreigners to taste an extraordinary delicacy.
The pre-program showcased various performances by Pinoy Artists in Korea. Franklin Mancia, Chilly Gay Remonde, Froilan Tabing, Mary Joy Lor and Yesha Pastrana turned the cinema hall to a performing stage of world class Singers.
While the Boys Selection, Pearl of the Orient, Cabalen All Stars and Seoul White Lies rocked the stage with their energetic dance performances. A separate article will feature the performers of the Red Carpet Night.
The closing ceremony started with a tearjerker theater performance by Tanghalang Banyuhay about "Migration", followed by Ambassador Noe Wong's speech about the 70th year of Philippines and Korea's bilateral relationship.
Together with the Ambassador of Philippine Embassy in Korea, Nash Ang and Rosie Peralta (Executive Director of Pinoy Artists in Korea) awarded the organizers, participating films, volunteers, supporters and partners of Korea Pinoy International Film Festival 2019.
Nash Ang, the KPIFF 2019 Festival Director formally closes the film festival with his speech.
After the festivities, the film "The Luxury Bus - 아픈만금 사랑한다" took over the stage as the closing film, followed by a Q and A session with the producers and director of the film.
Prior to the closing ceremony that ended the the 2019 event, the second showing of "Hello Love Goodbye", Short Film Selection and Directors Showcase program are screened on Arirang Cine Center.
With its one-year preparation, KPIFF 2019 is a massive success!
